Due to the closure of the Neville Bonner bridge, access to The Star Brisbane is encouraged via George Street entry. Arrival is via Margaret Street.
Neville Bonner Bridge will close to all foot traffic from 6.00pm. Please note, it may also close earlier if CBD precincts reach capacity beforehand. The Neville Bonner Bridge will reopen after the midnight fireworks when safe to do so.
Please refer to the Brisbane City Council website for all closures. The Star Brisbane encourages you to plan your trip in advance and request guests to arrive via George Street entry. Guests are encouraged to arrive via Margaret Street.
The Landing will be open to the public from 10.00am 31 December 2024. Capacity in this area is limited and will be available on a first in basis. The Landing will be an alcohol-free site. Other prohibited items include metal cutlery and other sharp items, drink bottles and unsealed lids (including bottles of water and soft drinks), scooters, bikes, pets, marquees and any large portable structure. Bag search will be conducted on entry. A water station is available to guests in The Landing. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The family fireworks will commence from 7.45pm.
The NYE fireworks will commence from midnight.
SOKYO
Access to Sokyo is via The Star Grand Hotel entrance. Due to road closures, arrival will be via Maragret Street.
ALORIA
For guests with confirmed Aloria bookings, please meet your host at the desk located to the right of the Star Grand Hotel entrance. You will be escorted directly to Aloria. Access to the Star Grand Hotel will be via Margaret Street.
THE TERRACE - LEVEL 4
For confirmed restaurant bookings on the Terrace, (Restaurants include Cucina Regina, Black Hide Seafood & Steak, Azteca, Luc Lac, Dark Sheppard, Pompette and HUA) please make your way to Level 4 and have your proof of booking ready to present on arrival for entry. All guests with confirmed restaurant bookings on the Terrace will have exclusive access to watch the fireworks.
