Partnerships

For more than 30 years, The Star Gold Coast has forged a number of key partnerships across a range of industries; working together to showcase our city to the world.
We are proud of these local, state and national partnerships that support a range of organisations, events and award programs that make a difference to our community.

On Friday 25 May, 2018 we proudly announced a three-year agreement as Naming Rights Partner of the internationally celebrated Magic Millions Carnival and Raceday.

Bringing together two icons of the Gold Coast region – both dedicated to delivering world-class entertainment with a backdrop of style and glamour – the 10-day event will now be cast as The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions.

A multi-component event, The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions will feature the January flagship Yearling Sale, the renowned $10 million Raceday and a bespoke competition involving some of the world’s finest polo players.

Magic Millions is quintessentially Gold Coast and continues to grow in popularity. It’s stylish, sophisticated and fun, making our partnership with Magic Million an ideal alignment.

Community Relations

Being part of the Gold Coast community means giving back. We’re not just about entertainment – we’re also committed to providing support to make a positive impact in the community in which we work and play.
Together with Treasury Brisbane, we’ve contributed more than $100 million into Queensland communities since we opened.
Every year we continue to support a number of organisations and charities through partnerships, cash and prize donations, and sponsorships. It’s our way of giving back to the city we are proud to call home.

The Surf Life Saving movement not only plays an important role in the lives of local Gold Coasters and visitors to our city, but also in the lives of our Team Members.

A major supporter of Surf Life Saving Queensland since 1994 – our partnership continues to grow to support the organisation.

As part of our partnership with Surf Life Saving Queensland we have been a major supporter of the annual Surf Safe Appeal which provides much needed equipment to support surf clubs across the Gold Coast.

The Star Gold Coast has a proud partnership with Gold Coast based Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation which supports and funds the vital work of the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

The Star Gold Coast is pleased to continue their support as platinum sponsor of Sanctuary Under the Stars and has provided much-needed warmth to the animals during winter by donating hundreds of blankets to the hospital.
