The Star Brisbane presents Sono Lumo, a blend of Christmas traditions and cutting-edge technology, creating a vibrant new Brisbane celebration. As dusk falls, a dazzling audiovisual show will transform the skyline.
Over ten nights, this experience will feature the finest electronically infused music, dynamic lighting, curated bars and seasonally inspired cuisine. This bold and original holiday celebration is unlike anything Brisbane has experienced before.
CAROLS REWIRED
Every night after sunset , a brilliant audio and lighting performance will sweep over The Star Brisbane and Queen’s Wharf precinct. With music curated by local DJ sensation Young Franco, this stunning show is an electrifying reimaging of the festive season. A dynamic fusion of loops, synths, beats and bells, and fun twists of Christmas classics.
Carols Rewired will occur nightly at 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm.
Between the hourly shows, the Sono Lumo precinct transforms with stunning pre-programmed lighting and projections that envelop buildings and stairways in vibrant colours and flowing motion. Join us as we showcase Brisbane’s top DJs, reinventing the soundtrack to the holiday season, and blending festive sounds with modern electronic twists.
TASTE OF THE STAR
To fuel all the festivities there’s lots of delicious food on Sono Lumo’s menu. Fresh, flavoursome interpretations of classic festive dishes. A moreish lineup of food trucks serving a mouthwatering variety of cuisines. And tastiest of all? The Star Brisbane’s restaurants’ exquisite signature dishes are available in easy grab & go sample sizes. Grab a drink from the Sono Lumo bars, and take a seat on The Landing to enjoy the show!
